bohemea: A decade of Spongebob Squarepants On July 17, 2009, Nickelodeon will celebrate the tenth anniversary of Bikini Bottom’s favorite frycook, the one and only, Spongebob Squarepants. In honor of it’s terrific Porifera, Nickelodeon will broadcast a fifty hour marathon from July 17-19 entitled, “The Ultimate Spongebob Spongebash Weekend”. As part of this programming schedule, the network will include eleven premiere Spongebob events. holy hell I feel old now.  My kids watch Spongebob.  At least one cartoon survived the test of time for both generations and doesn’t suck now. (Ie- the Simpsons)
